What a credit buys

Every run, and what it costs

A short text rewrite is not billed like a ten-minute live voice interview. Here is the whole list.

Credit cost of every Careerku action
Action Cost
Resume Resume import Read an existing resume PDF and fill the resume builder in automatically. 1 credit
Resume Resume review Private ATS-friendly resume feedback with scores, priorities, and example rewrites. 1 credit
Resume Tailored resume (standard) Rewrite a resume around one job posting. Quick, and enough for most postings. 2 credits
Resume Tailored resume (sharper) The same rewrite on a bigger model that plans each section before writing it. Better on postings with a long list of requirements. 4 credits
Resume Tailored resume (deep) The same rewrite on our strongest model, thinking hard about the whole resume first. Slower, and strongest on senior roles and career changes. 8 credits
Hiring Job post builder AI help for writing a public job post and interview-ready role brief. 1 credit
Practice Practice track builder AI help for creating a focused practice track from a target role or company. 1 credit
Hiring Candidate invitation Create and send a secure interview invite link to one candidate. This covers email delivery cost and limits abuse. 1 credit
Practice Practice AI interview One ten-minute live voice practice interview with transcript and report. A longer practice track costs one of these for every ten minutes, so a 30-minute run is three times the price. The monthly free practice interview covers a ten-minute run only. 8 credits
Hiring Employer AI interview Camera-required assessment interview with transcript-backed report. A completed screen costs 12 credits in total: 1 invite credit plus 11 interview credits. 11 credits
Reports Shared interview report Candidate and employer report with scores, evidence, and improvement notes. Included

Failed AI runs are refunded automatically. An employer interview credit is returned when a candidate never shows up.

Billing questions

Plans, credits, and refunds

What is a credit?

A credit is what an AI run costs. Cheap text work costs one credit. A live ten-minute voice interview costs more, because it costs us more to run. Your plan drops credits every month and you can buy more at any time.

Do free and Pro get different features?

No. Every feature works on both. Pro raises the monthly credits, removes the record caps, and drops top-up packs to their base price.

When is a credit actually spent?

AI runs are charged when they run, and refunded if the run fails. Employer interview credits are held when the invite goes out and returned if the candidate never completes.

Do unused credits roll over?

Bought credits never expire. Monthly plan credits are a fresh drop each calendar month.
